Bishop Nii Nai Mensah Urges Churches to Train Quality Clergy to Combat Decaying World

Rev. Isaac O. Honor

Pastors have been urged to undergo quality theological training to restore the change needed to combat the decaying world.

Bishop Nii Nai Mensah, Rector of Mathetes Bible College in Kumasi, made the call during the 6th graduation and ordination ceremony held on Saturday, October 4th.

The ceremony highlighted the theme “The Lord’s Anointed” and encouraged the graduates to operate in ministry with special anointing from above.

Bishop Mensah emphasized that pastors with quality theological knowledge can help Christians grasp deeply Christian morals in a decaying society.

“We need pastors that will bring revival into the Christian ministry,” he stressed. Mathetes Bible College, he said, stands in truth to train and equip pastors and commissions them for greater works.

He encouraged pastors to remain fearless and preach the gospel without intimidation.

Bishop Mensah also defended the importance of attending Bible school, citing the tradition of the early Christian apostles.

The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the graduates, who are now equipped to serve in various capacities in the church
