2025 BECE: Teachers warned Not to smuggle Solved Questions into Exam Hall

The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) commenced today at 2,237 examination centers nationwide.

At the LA Emmaus center in Greater Accra Region, Supervisor Mr. Prosper Gbadegba warned teachers against attempting to assist students by smuggling solved questions into the examination hall.

Mr. Gbadegba emphasized the importance of adhering to examination rules and regulations. He cautioned students that possession of foreign materials would result in severe consequences, including cancellation of their paper.

This year’s BECE has seen a 5.99% increase in candidature compared to 2024. At the LA Emmaus center, 350 candidates from eight schools are sitting for the examination.

Mr. Gbadegba’s warning underscores the commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process, ensuring a fair and transparent assessment for all candidates.
