The Deputy Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Owusu Pempah, has cautioned that supporters of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia may be damaging his political career with their actions.
Speaking to Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa TV’s breakfast show, Pempah responded to rumors linking Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s faction to the arrest of Chairman Wontumi, currently in EOCO custody.
He denied any feud between Kennedy Agyapong and Wontumi, describing them as close friends.
Prempeh expressed concern that Dr. Bawumia’s supporters are engaging in “childish and propagandist attitudes” that could harm his political career. “Such vampire supporters of Dr. Bawumia may dish his political career,” he warned.
He criticized those using propaganda to achieve their goals, questioning why Dr. Bawumia would allow himself to be used in such a manner.
Pempah’s comments highlight internal party tensions and the potential risks of divisive politics.
