Anglogold Ashanti Obuasi Mine as part of it ten years Socio-economic development plan has cut sod to commerce road linking obuasi ETS to ease traffic congestion in obuasi Municipality.
Speaking with the managing director for Anglogold Ashanti Obuasi Mine Mr.Samuel Boakye Pobi has urged that the construction of the road will take 3 months approximately.
He also stated that the road is going to be of high quality including some beautification around the roundabout of obuasi ETS.
The newly confirmed MCE HON.FAUSTYLOVE APPIAH KANIN has also commended AGA for this development, she appeal to Anglogold Ashanti to also employ indegence of obuasi and it enclaves to curb unemployment rate in obuasi.
