In a heartwarming display of compassion, Joy of the Lord Missions, a Canada-based humanitarian organization, has made a significant impact in the Nkoranza South District of Ghana’s Bono Region.
The organization recently screened approximately 4,000 aged and disabled individuals as part of its annual Mothers’ Day celebration.
The two-day event was marked by the donation of wheelchairs, clutches, and walking frames to hundreds of persons living with disabilities and aged persons.
The beneficiaries also received free medication for various health conditions, including diabetes and hypertension.
Founder Theresah Sarpong emphasized the importance of prioritizing one’s health during the Renewed Hope Session on May 11, 2025.
She revealed plans to replicate the initiative in Nkawie-Afari and culminate the year with a special event for underprivileged children in November.
This selfless act has undoubtedly brought renewed hope and improved the lives of the beneficiaries.
Joy of the Lord Missions’ commitment to serving humanity is truly commendable, and their efforts are a testament to the power of kindness and generosity.
