The Institute of Economic Research and Public Policy (IERPP) has evaluated President John Dramani Mahama’s first 120 days in office, scoring his performance as below average, equivalent to a grade F.
According to the think tank group, President Mahama has failed to fulfill his 25 campaign promises within the specified timeframe, achieving a mere 47% score.
At the IERPP’s “120 Days Accountability Showdown” press conference, Executive Director Professor Isaac Boadi stated that the President’s achievements in his first 120 days clearly indicate that the “Reset Ghana” agenda is yet to begin.
Professor Boadi emphasized that the Institute used four key pointers to assess the President’s promises: Governance and Accountability, Mining and Energy, Education and Healthcare, and Social Interventions.
“Looking at what the President has achieved in his first 120 days in office clearly shows that the reset agenda is yet to start.” “We urge President Mahama to change his way of doing things if he still stands by his ‘Reset Ghana’ agenda slogan.”
The IERPP’s assessment serves as a wake-up call for President Mahama to re-evaluate his approach and prioritize the implementation of his campaign promises.
