The Asokwa NDC Grassroots in Kumasi has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the appointment of Amoh Kamel as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
The grassroot says the NDC party will suffer under the leadership of Amoh Kamel if their concerns are not adhere to.
According to the group, the reasons for their discontent include:
– Lack of support for Asokwa youth
– Perceived lack of assistance during campaigns
– Allegations of greed and selfishness
Speaking to this reporter Mr. CHRISTOPHER OSEI MENSAH – ASOKWA NDC, GRASSROOT CHAIRMAN issued a 48-hour ultimatum to reconsider the appointment, failing which they claim they will take further action.
He also alleged that the police prevented them from staging a protest to express their grievances.
The group cited biblical scripture, Ezra 10:4, in reference to their determination to stand firm in their demands.
