G/A: FOUR WOUNDED, TWO IN SERIOUS CONDITION IN GUN ATTACK OVER PEACE OF LAND AT DOMEABRA

Six persons have been injured in a two-day clash between Domeabra and Danchira, two communities on a piece of land in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
The fighting, according to our gathering, occurred over a piece of land at Domeabra.
The fighting began on Tuesday evening at the outskirts of the Domeabra community.
There were gunshot exchanges leading to the injuring of multiple persons.
One of the injured persons after an initial treatment at a local health facility was transferred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra and UGMC
A reprisal attack on Wednesday afternoon at the exact spot also led to four persons sustaining machete wounds.
One of them, whose injury was severe, has been transferred to the University of Ghana Medical Centre also in Accra for advanced treatment.
Developmental Chief of Domeabra Francis Boateng in an interview with Nana Ansah said, they were working on a piece of land when a group of people from Denchira led by one Ashaley attacked the workers.
He said that after some hours, Ashaley came back with another guys with weapons and started shooting indiscriminately.
Meanwhile, James Comey, who received cutlass wounds in today’s reprisal attack and receiving treatment at Effah Community Hospital , also spoke to Nana Ansah and explained how he was attacked
Currently, about 20 police officers from Wejia Divisional Police Command and Amamfrom District Police are in the community to maintain peace and other.
