Muslim Leader Urges Global Unity During Eid-Ul-Fitr Celebrations

A heartfelt appeal has been made by Alhaji Jabir Kango, Deputy Administrator of the National Mosque of Ghana, for Muslims worldwide to unite in celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
Speaking at an Eid fun fair in Ghana, Kango emphasized the importance of using the festivities as a tool for promoting peace and global Muslim unity.
The event, which brought together 600 children from Ghanaian and Arab backgrounds, was organized by the National Mosque of Ghana, with support from Jil Al Quran and Qatar Charity.
Kango highlighted the successful collaboration between these organizations as a shining example of what can be achieved when Muslims work together towards a common goal.
Alimatu Sadia Seidu, Sponsorship Supervisor of Qatar Charity, echoed Kango’s sentiments, emphasizing the significance of the Eid fun fair in providing a welcoming atmosphere for children to come together and experience joy.
Seidu noted that many children lack a supportive family environment or a safe space to celebrate Eid, making events like the fun fair crucial for their well-being.
As Muslims around the world prepare to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr, Kango’s message serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity, peace, and community during this joyous occasion.
