Minister Debunks Claim of 13,000km of Roads Built by Previous Administration

Roads and Highways Minister, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has disputed the claim that the previous administration built 13,000 kilometers of roads during their tenure.
According to Minister Agbodza, the actual number of new roads constructed under the former administration is significantly lower, at approximately 673 kilometers. He cautioned against spreading misinformation, emphasizing the need for accuracy in reporting.
The Minister’s revelation contradicts the previous administration’s claim of constructing a vast network of roads across the country. The disputed claim has sparked controversy, with some questioning the accuracy of the figures.
Minister Agbodza’s statement aims to set the record straight and provide a more accurate account of the country’s road infrastructure development. The Ministry of Roads and Highways has pledged to prioritize transparency and accountability in its reporting of infrastructure projects.
