Koroye Business Women’s Association Donates to Otoase Orphanage

The Koroye Business Women’s Association has demonstrated kindness and generosity by donating items worth thousands of cedis to the Otoase Orphanage home.

According to Harga Commey, President of the Association, the donation was inspired by the remarkable efforts of the orphanage’s founder, Madam Louisa Enyonam Ansah, a disabled individual who selflessly cares for over 50 orphans.

Commey emphasized the importance of supporting persons with disabilities, urging parents to provide proper care for their children with disabilities. She noted that anyone can become disabled and that dissociating oneself from persons with disabilities contributes to the prevalence of PWDs begging on the streets.

Madam Ansah expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the Koroye Business Women’s Association for their generous donation. She emphasized that the support will have a significant impact on the lives of the vulnerable children, the majority of whom are persons with disabilities.

Madam Ansah also made a passionate appeal to corporate Ghana to come to the aid of the orphanage, stressing that these children are valuable members of society and deserve support and care.

“We believe that these children are really important in our society, and we urge corporate Ghana to support us in giving them the care and opportunities they deserve,” Madam Ansah said.

The Koroye Business Women’s Association’s donation serves as a shining example of kindness and generosity, and their efforts to support the Otoase Orphanage are truly commendable.
