Local Council of Churches appreciated political leadership for supporting SHS freshers

The Chairman of the Local Council of Churches in Berekum, Bono Region, Bishop Frank Awuah, has conveyed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Members of Parliament nationwide for their commendable and steadfast support extended to newly enrolled students in Senior High Schools.

Many of these students have benefited from the provision of chop boxes, trunks, and mattresses by numerous MPs in their respective constituencies.

Bishop Frank Awuah encouraged other Members of Parliament who have not made such generous donations to start supporting their constituents in the coming academic years, thereby alleviating the financial burden on parents as their children prepare for Senior High School.

He emphasized that Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) can also contribute similarly to support students, to foster a brighter future for a prosperous nation.

Prophet Prince Ofori, the founder of Pillar of Judah Ministry in Berekum, offered guidance to the new Senior High School students.

He advised them to focus diligently on their studies and to avoid forming unnecessary friendships and engaging in detrimental behaviors such as street involvement, drug use, and substance abuse, as these actions could jeopardize their lives and future aspirations.
