COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa honored for empowering women in Accounting

The Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and the Association of Women Accountants, Ghana (AWAG) celebrated COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo Danquah for her long-standing commitment to empowering women in the accounting profession.
As a former ICAG Council Member and Past AWAG President, Mrs. Addo Danquah has personally sponsored the Overall Best Female Candidate awards at ICAG’s Graduation & Admission Ceremonies for years.
Her dedication has inspired countless women to pursue excellence and leadership in the profession.
At the 45th Graduation & Admission Ceremony, the awards were presented to Ms. Adwoa Nyamekye Agyei (Level 1) and Ms. Keziah Lartiorkor Lartey (Level 2), recognizing their stellar performances.
ICAG Vice President Rev. Dr. Cynthia Sallah and AWAG President Mrs. Akua Bonsu presented the awards, marking a moment of legacy and shared celebration.
In a statement, ICAG and AWAG expressed profound appreciation to COP Addo Danquah, describing her as a “true definition of an empowered woman, empowering the profession.”
