Gold Buyer Brutally Murdered in Wasa Bawdie Armed Robbery

A gold buying agent, popularly known as “Carry,” has been brutally murdered by armed robbers in his office at Wasa Bawdie in the Amenfi East district of the Western Region.

According to reports, three heavily armed men on motorcycles, wielding sharp knives and a pistol, stormed the gold shop, overpowered the victim, and made away with a significant amount of money and gold.

The suspects reportedly used extreme violence, butchering the gold buyer in the process.

The body has been deposited at the morgue for an autopsy, and the police are currently conducting investigations into the matter.

This incident bears similarities to a recent armed robbery attack on a gold buying shop in Teleku Bokazo, Ellembelle District, where six robbers wielding AK-47 rifles and machetes injured two shop attendants.

The police have been working to apprehend suspects and bring perpetrators to justice in such cases, highlighting the need for increased security measures to protect gold buying businesses and prevent such violent crimes.

The police are working diligently to track down the suspects and recover the stolen goods.

The community is shocked and outraged by the brutal murder, and residents are calling for increased security presence to prevent such incidents in the future.
