Ivory Coast Government Partners with Dormaa MUSEC to Resolve Chieftaincy Dispute

A delegation from the Ivory Coast government has engaged with the Dormaa Central Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) and the Dormaa Traditional Authority to resolve a protracted chieftaincy dispute in KofiBadukrom, a community in the Bono Region of Ghana.

The dispute has prompted collaborative efforts between the two countries to achieve lasting peace.

The Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Adoma Ameyaw, expressed gratitude to the Ivory Coast government for their efforts in seeking a permanent resolution to the dispute.

He emphasized his commitment to providing necessary support to ensure peaceful coexistence between KofiBadukrom in Ghana and KofiBadoukrom in the Ivory Coast.

 

The Regional Minister of the Gontougo Region of the Kun-Fao District, Okoubo Marie Therese Rose Okou, acknowledged Ivory Coast’s commitment to resolving the chieftaincy impasse.

She sought the assistance of MUSEC and the Dormaa Traditional Council to address the disputes and foster enduring peace and order in both communities.

The partnership between the Ivory Coast government and Dormaa MUSEC aims to bring lasting peace to the two communities.

The joint efforts demonstrate the commitment of both countries to resolving disputes and promoting peaceful coexistence.
