Religious Leader Criticizes NDC Leadership, Calls for National Repentance

Reverend Emmanuel Boachie, Country Director of Awesome Bible College and Head Pastor of SOULS’ PASTURE CHURCH, has described the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as “desperate, vulnerable, and psychologically traumatized” in the wake of the recent tragic air force crash.

According to Rev. Boachie, the NDC’s actions will not bring about change, but rather, the nation needs to seek forgiveness from God and repent from its evil deeds.

Rev. Boachie emphasized that Ghana has deviated from God’s will, which he believes is the reason for the current calamities, including the recent air force accident, vehicular crashes, and other disasters.

He urged the government, leaders, and citizens to pray for forgiveness and repentance, warning that God’s wrath will continue until the nation takes the necessary actions.

The religious leader also cautioned against the continued acceptance of prophecies of doom from self-proclaimed prophets, suggesting that this could lead to the establishment of a Ministry of Prophecies.

He argued that this would indicate a lack of spiritual direction and susceptibility to influence by individuals claiming to be prophets.

The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations has called on religious leaders to submit prophecies or spiritual insights of national importance for evaluation.

Rev. Boachie believes that this directive is necessary to ensure that prophecies are properly assessed and do not mislead the nation.

Rev. Boachie’s message serves as a call to action for Ghanaians to reflect on their actions and seek forgiveness from God. He emphasized that national repentance is necessary to avert God’s wrath and restore the nation’s spiritual direction.
