C/R: TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN POSSESSION OF 519 COMPRESSED PARCELS SUSPECTED TO BE INDIAN HEMP

The central East regional police command has arrested two persons in possession of substances suspected to be Indian hemp.
The suspects were arrested in Gomoa Nyanyano in the Gomoa East District by Gomoa Nyanyano district police patrol.
The suspects, Eric Nkyeke and Francis Klu aged 30 and 28 respectfully apprehended with 519 pieces of compressed parcels on Monday morning where they were offloading the suspected Indian hemp from Toyota Hilux pick up with registration number GS 6849-21.
The suspect are currently in police custody at central regional police command in Kasoa assisting investigations.
The central East regional police command urges members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drugs.
