Business magnate and philanthropist Daniel McKorley has been crowned the “Most Influential Entrepreneur of All Time” at the 15th Anniversary and Awards Ceremony of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG).
The prestigious award recognizes his decades of entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, job creation, and national development.
As the Founder and Executive Chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, Daniel McKorley has built a Ghanaian conglomerate with diverse interests in logistics, aviation, shipping, construction, mining, salt production, agribusiness, and real estate.
His business empire has created numerous jobs and contributed significantly to Ghana’s economic growth.
In his acceptance speech, McKorley reflected on his journey, emphasizing the importance of resilience and hope. “I came from very little—but what I had was a dream and a deep belief that Ghana is a land of opportunity,” he said.
