Refrain from Insulting Leaders on Social Media — Afenyo Markin to NPP Supporters

The Minority Leader in Parliament Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has cautioned members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against insulting their leaders on social media platforms.
“Don’t insult your leaders on social media; use the party’s internal channels to express your concerns decently.”
Speaking at the launch of the Patriotic Institute at the party’s headquarters in Accra, Afenyo-Markin emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum and utilizing internal party channels to express grievances.
Afenyo-Markin noted that the party’s loss in the 2024 election presents an opportunity for introspection and strategic planning. He urged party members to put aside past differences and work towards a common goal, stressing that the elephant symbol of the party remains a winning emblem.
“Let’s not look lost, the bottle is the Lord, and the elephant is still the mighty. We should rise again, and we shall do so with creativity and better strategy.
Adding that “Let’s put an end to anger and division of the past and move forward as one people. The elephant is a winning symbol, and we shall win to save Ghana.”
