The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Elections Committee has officially released the final list of members in good standing, marking a significant milestone in the electoral process.
This list will serve as the Voters’ Register for the upcoming GJA National and Regional Elections scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2025.
The latest list highlights Key key components including Eligibility to Vote which is Only members whose names appear on the final list will be eligible to vote in the elections.
The deadline for submission of nominations for the position of Vice Chairman in the Volta Region is today, June 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm. A virtual vetting session for nominated candidates will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11:00 am.
According to the statement, Members in regions with low membership numbers will vote in their parent regions. Specifically: North East Region: Voting will take place in Tamale, Western North: Voting will take place in Takoradi, Oti Region: Voting will take place in Ho, Ahafo Region: Voting will take place in Sunyani, Bono East Region: Voting will take place in Techiman.
