Citizen Eye Ghana Pays GH¢20,000 Medical Bill for 12-Year-Old Girl’s Kidney Surgery

In a heartwarming display of kindness, Citizen Eye Ghana (CITEG) a non-governmental organization, has made a generous donation of GH¢20,000 to cover the medical expenses of a 12-year-old girl in need of kidney surgery.

The organization was able to facilitate this payment through the benevolent act of the Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah.

Mr. Alex Tetteh, President of CITEG, presented the cheque to the grateful parents, expressing his organization’s gratitude to Chief of Staff for his benevolence. Notably, this is a remarkable gesture, as he becomes the first politician to support CITEG since its formation.

Mr. Tetteh hinted that Ghanaians can expect more charitable initiatives from Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah as he plans to launch his own foundation soon. This foundation will enable him to embark on more projects, further supporting those in need.

This act of kindness has brought relief to the family of the young girl, who can now focus on her surgery and recovery without the burden of medical expenses.

Mr Isaac Laryea, father of the 12-year-old girl, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, and Citizen Eye Ghana (CITEG) for paying his daughter’s medical bill.

He prayed that God would bless and replenish their efforts, enabling them to continue helping more Ghanaians in need.
