Ashanti Region: Dɛɛdɛw Foundation Commissions Ultramodern 5-Unit Block For Atwima Manhyia Methodist Primary

Kumasi-based philanthropic group, Dɛɛdɛw Foundation, has donated a five-unit state-of-the-art block for Manhyia Methodist Primary School in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly of the Ashanti Region.

The project which was commissioned on Wednesday, 4th June 2025, is expected to reduce classroom congestion; thereby, creating a conducive atmosphere for the learners.

Speaking in an interview after the handing over ceremony, the founder of the association and sponsor of the project, Kingsley Owusu – affectionately called Dɛɛdɛw – noted that as his civil responsibility, he would gladly contribute his quota to provide quality education for school children because government is overburdened with a lot of responsibilities.

He also appealed to the management and teachers of the school to help maintain the facility in order for it to serve the purpose for which it was built.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive of Atwima Nwabiagya, Honourable Wisdom Boamah, has expressed his thankfulness to Kingsley Owusu and the Dɛɛdɛw Foundation for their enormous support to education.

He seized the moment to call upon all indigenes and benevolent persons to offer their support to the development of the municipality in any little way they can.

According to him, it is his vision to help improve road infrastructure and rectify all sanitation challenges.
