Three school children are in critical condition and receiving treatment at ST Joe’s Clinic and Maternity and Kasoa Polyclinic after high tension Cable fell on them at Kasoa Ofankor in the Awutu Senya East Municipality.
According to the report, the victims who are students of Kasoa Ofankor DC Basic school have closed from school and were going home where the cable accidentally cut from the pole and fell on them.
Report says, victims have sustained burn body wounds all-over their body with two being in coma.
In an interview with the eyewitnesses, they lament that, there is fault on the cable which they have reported to ECG but have failed to attend to them which today has fell on the school children.
Meanwhile, the mother of one victim, Esther Krampah in an interview with Nana Ansah said, her son who is 13yrs of age is in critical condition now.
