Gender Ministry Launches Childcare Centre for Working Parents

The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection has launched a childcare centre to support its staff, particularly working mothers.
The centre, designed for children aged 0-3 years, provides quality care and stimulation, allowing parents to work with peace of mind.
Minister Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey emphasized the importance of supporting working parents in achieving their professional goals while ensuring their children receive quality care.
The initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to the welfare of children and working parents, aligning with its mission for inclusive development and social protection.
The childcare centre provides a child-friendly environment, enabling parents to focus on their work without worrying about their children’s care.
Dr. Lartey hinted that the initiative, supported by external partners, will be expanded to various ministries and government agencies to aid working mothers.
