NDC Royalists in Effutu Condemn Early Protest Against Party’s President DCE Nominee

Effutu NDC Concern Royalist has comdermd some NDC Branch executives in Effutu who protest against President Mahama’s MCE nominee for Effutu, Rev. Atta Mensah whose nomination came late yesterday.
According to the concern Effutu NDC royalist, the nomination is a good move to help push president Mahama’s agenda and campaign promises in Effutu since president Mahama’s early nominee, Abraham Arthur was totally rejected by assembly members of Effutu.
Assembly members of Effutu rejected Abraham Arthur who was nominated by the president to become MCE for Effutu after he got 7yes representing 34% and 17 know represent 66% out of 18 assembly members and 6 government appointees during voting in a month ago.
On early hour of Thursday, 29th May, 2025, some branch executives of NDC in Effutu protest against the new nominee Rev. Atta Mensah seeking for renomination of Abraham Henry Arthur who was rejected earlier by the assembly members of Effutu.
Following their protest against the new president Nominee, Rev. Atta Mensah, the Concern Effutu NDC Royalist in a press conference has welcomed the president new MCE nominee Rev Atta Mensah to counter the early protest by some branch executives of Effutu NDC which they have expressed their gratitude to the president and national executives of NDC.
Mr. John Baptist, Communication team member of Effutu NDC has who spoke on behalf of Concern NDC Royalist said the move by the president will help push the president campaign promises in Effutu and also champion for the party’s victory in 2028 elections.
He also urged president and national executives to give deaf ears to those who conderm the nomination of Rev Atta Mensah since Rev Atta Mensah has the support of the people in Effutu and even the assembly members as well which will make his endorsement easier.
