E/R: Islamic Philanthropist commissions new school for Nkawkaw-Fodoa community

Young Islamic philanthropist, Alhaji Abdul Razak has built and commissioned a new Islamic school facility for Muslims in the Nkawkaw- Fodoa community in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.

 

The commissioning ceremony attended by Muslim leaders and residents in the community marked a new beginning of educational transformation for children in the Zongo community.

 

Speaking to the media, Alhaji Abdul  lamented the bad state of the previous structure in which his young Islamic brothers and sisters used as classroom blocks hence his decision to build a new facility for them.

 

He further disclosed that an amount of over four hundred thousand cedis (Gh ¢ 400,000) has been invested in the building of the facility and will soon work hard to complete other ancillary facilities needed.

 

Alhaji Abdul Razak however advised managers of the school to prioritize the culture of menteinance on the project.

 

On her part, Queen Mother for Fodoa, Nana Akosua Frimpomaa who graced the occasion also admonished Islamic parents to make the building of the school relevant by ensuring that their wards always attend lessons in the school in order to secure a brighter future.

 

Finally, Chief Imam of Fodoa, Malam Hassan Abubakar also expressed his profound gratitude to Alhaji Abdul Razak for his kind gesture and and indicated that, the facility will go along way to enhance knowledge aquisision for children within the Fodoa Zongo community.

 

He further appealed to stakeholders for other materials that could enhance teaching and learning such as, computers, fans, marker boards etc.
