In a landslide victory, Honorable Grace Asamoah Agyemang, the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, has been confirmed as the new District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atwima Kwanwoma District.
The confirmation election, held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Twedie, saw an impressive 100 percent endorsement from 47 assembly members and government appointees.
In her initial remarks after the declaration of results, Honorable Asamoah expressed her heartfelt gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for entrusting her with this significant responsibility.
She acknowledged the trust placed in her and pledged to work tirelessly for the development of the district.
Honorable Asamoah appealed to all chiefs, politicians, and opinion leaders to support and pray for her administration, emphasizing that unity is crucial for development.
She highlighted her prior engagement with assembly members, where she discussed the challenges facing their communities and pledged to address them.
One of her key initiatives, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament, Honorable Kofi Amankwaa Manu, is to ensure that all basic schools in the district have decent toilet facilities.
This initiative aims to improve the learning environment and promote sanitation in the district.
With her unanimous confirmation, Honorable Grace Asamoah Agyemang is poised to lead the Atwima Kwanwoma District towards a brighter future, driven by her commitment to unity, development, and the welfare of its citizens.
