Agona Abodom Residents Cry Out for Basic Amenities

Residents of Agona Abodom in the Agona West District of Ghana’s Central Region are sounding the alarm over the lack of basic social amenities in their community. According to Nana Ansah, the residents are facing significant challenges due to the absence of essential infrastructure.

The community’s only health center is woefully underequipped, lacking vital medical supplies and equipment to provide adequate care to the people.

Furthermore, a market complex that was started last year remains abandoned, leaving traders without a proper place to conduct their businesses.

The residents are also grappling with poor road conditions, the absence of a police station, and inadequate educational infrastructure.

The lack of learning materials and facilities at the local basic school has led to a decline in academic performance among students.

Traditional leaders in the area are joining the residents in calling on authorities to intervene and provide the much-needed amenities.

They believe that with the government’s support, the community can improve its living standards and provide a better future for its residents.

The residents are hopeful that their pleas will be heard and that action will be taken to address their challenges.
