C/R: ST GREGORY HOSPITAL CRIES FOR LOGISTICS AFTER COMMISSIONING 21 BED MATERNITY BLOCK
St Gregory Hospital at Gomoa Buduburam in the Central Region has commission a 21 bed maternity block, a Theater and Intensive cure unity to help save the lives of Pregnant woman and newborn babies.
Administrator of St Gregory Hospital Mathias Ayegre Anaba has appealed to government and stakeholders to come to their aid with logistics and infrastructure to save lives in the District.
Speaking to the press, Mathias Ayegre Anaba indicatea that, the facility serves a population of over 70,000 but inadequate infrastructure and logistics has become impediment for the hospital to provide effect healthcare delivery hence the call on government and other philanthropist to come to their aid.
He said, the facility attend to over 6,000 people in a month which has put a lot of pressure on the facility.
Meanwhile the Central Region Minister Hon. Ekow Okyere Panyin also also commended the the management for using internal Generated fund to build such a nice edifice.
He also reaffirm the government commitment to improve health facilities in the central region.
