
The 2025 West Africa Pharma HealthCare Expo and Conference took place in Accra, Ghana, bringing together industry experts, stakeholders, and innovators in the pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors.
The event was organized by Astrovision Global FZCO Dubai and ACE Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and supported by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
In a keynote address, Hon. Sampson Ahi, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, highlighted the transformative impact of technology on the global healthcare landscape.
He emphasized that technological innovations in e-healthcare are bridging the gap for patients in rural areas who lack access to immediate healthcare facilities.
“Today’s technological innovations in e-healthcare bridge the gap of patients in rural areas who cannot access immediate health facilities. It’s about time all individuals embrace this scientific change.”
The conference provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss pressing issues, share knowledge, and explore opportunities in the healthcare industry.
Mr. Praveen Singh, Project Director of the exhibition described the event as more than just a trade fair, but rather a shared vision to create a healthier and more connected Africa through equitable partnerships and knowledge sharing.
He highlighted that trade between India and Ghana reached approximately USD 2.87 billion in 2023–2024, with India exporting over USD 1.1 billion worth of goods to Ghana.
