Military Rule Not Solution To Ghana’s Problem – Sociopolitical Expert

Dr. Christopher Ampadu, a sociopolitical expert, has expressed concerns over the growing support for military intervention in Ghana, as revealed in a recent Afrobarometer report.
According to the report, an increasing number of Ghanaians believe that military rule could be a solution when elected leaders abuse their power.
Dr. Ampadu argues that a return to military rule is not the answer, citing the prevalence of corruption and related activities under previous military regimes in Ghana. Instead, he advocates for a change in mindset and attitude among Ghanaians to transform the nation.
“A transformation in mindset and attitude is necessary to address and rectify the nation’s challenges,” Dr. Ampadu emphasized.
He believes that the nation’s progress depends on its citizens and that human capital is essential for executing activities within the country.
Dr. Ampadu also highlighted the role of the church in shaping the lives and conduct of the populace.
He stressed that the church must function without animosity and corruption to equip its members to propel the country forward.
In his view, a mindset transformation is the optimal solution for Ghana’s challenges, rather than resorting to military rule..
