Kwadaso-Murder: Suspect Arrested in Connection with Murder of 23-Year-Old Woman

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has apprehended a suspect in connection with the murder of Dorothy Owusu Annor, also known as Maa Abena, a 23-year-old woman found dead with multiple stab wounds near the Mighty Jesus Educational Complex in Dominase, Kwadaso Municipality.
Robert Kwabena Boamah, 34, was arrested at his hideout in Namong, near Offinso, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The police received a distress call on Monday, April 21, 2025, and responded promptly to the scene, where they found the deceased’s body and an abandoned Opel Astra taxi cab with registration number AS8575-Y.
In a statement released by the command indicated that, Investigations revealed that the vehicle belonged to the suspect, who was tracked down and arrested.
During interrogation, Boamah confessed to committing the crime. After his arrest, he attempted to take his own life by drinking weedicide but was treated and discharged from the Abuakwa Polyclinic.
The suspect is currently in police custody, and efforts are underway to arraign him before court to face justice.
