Dormaa East MP Pledges to Fulfill Campaign Promises

The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East constituency in the Bono Region, Hon. Rachael Owusuaa, has reaffirmed her commitment to delivering on all promises made during the 2024 campaign season.

She emphasized her dedication to fostering development within the constituency, prioritizing key areas such as health, education, infrastructure, water, and agriculture.

Hon. Owusuaa revealed that she was once advised by a fellow politician to make grand, unachievable promises to secure votes, but she chose a different path.

“Rome was not built in a day,” she said, urging constituents to be patient as she works tirelessly to fulfill her pledges.

One notable initiative already underway is the construction of a pediatric ward at the Wamfie Government Hospital, made possible through support from philanthropists.

This project aims to alleviate overcrowding and provide more space for patients. Upon completion, the pediatric ward will allow children to be treated in a dedicated facility, freeing up space for other patients.

The MP’s commitment to her constituents is evident in her actions, and she remains optimistic about delivering on her promises over the next four years.

By focusing on essential sectors and engaging with her community, Hon. Owusuaa is working towards tangible progress in Dormaa East.
