Ngleshie Alata Paramount Chief Urges Leaders to Embody Humility and Obedience

The paramount Chief of the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area, Oblempong Dr. Wetse Kojo II, has emphasized the importance of humility and obedience in the exercise of power and authority.

 

Speaking at the Easter convention of the Church of Pentecost Mamprobi District-Sempe, he noted that struggles for control and demonstrations of personal egos often overshadow the true purpose of leadership.

 

The chief stressed that true leadership requires humility and obedience to a higher authority.

He highlighted the need for Christians and traditional leaders to work together, recognizing their shared humanity and equality before God.

 

The paramount chief lamented the tendency for individuals to prioritize personal interests and power struggles over the greater good.

 

He commended the Church of Pentecost for bringing together Christians and traditional leaders to acknowledge the presence of God and promote unity.

He emphasized that this collaboration is a step in the right direction, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
