Former MP Appiah Kubi Urges NPP Members to Keep Infighting In-House

In a bid to restore unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), former Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Honourable Kojo Appiah Kubi, has appealed to disgruntled members to refrain from publicly criticizing the party’s leadership.
This call to action comes after some NPP leaders publicly blamed party executives for the party’s unprecedented defeat in the 2024 General Elections.
According to Appiah Kubi, exposing the party’s shortcomings to the general public will only harm the NPP’s chances of regaining public confidence and respect ahead of the 2028 general election. Instead, he recommends that members address their concerns internally.
To that end, the party leadership has established a committee to investigate the cause of the 2024 election defeat and make recommendations for improvement. Appiah Kubi believes this approach will enable the party to re-strategize and come back stronger in the next election.
As for his own political future, Appiah Kubi has put rumors to rest, stating that he will not be returning to active politics. However, he remains committed to offering his support and guidance to anyone interested in vying for the Atwima Kwanwoma seat.
