Appointment of DCEs: Dormaa Akwamu Traditional Authorities commend Prez Mahama for Appointing Osei Owusu King As Dormaa East DCE

The traditional leaders of Dormaa Akwamu, situated in the Dormaa East District of the Bono region, have formally declared their endorsement of the District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee, Hon. Osei Owusu King, to advance the development of the constituency.
In a press engagement with journalists, Nana Kumih Acheaw Brimpong, the Adontenhene of the Dormaa Akwamu traditional area, expressed their profound gratitude to the Dormaa East and Bono Regional NDC executives, as well as the President, for bestowing this appointment upon a native of Dormaa Akwamu.
He articulated the wealth of experience the DCE nominee has accrued over the years within the NDC, underscoring his suitability as the ideal candidate for the DCE position.
He expressed hope that Hon. Osei Owusu King will fulfill the expectations of the President and the people of Dormaa East in facilitating development and growth of the District.
The Queen Mother of Dormaa Akwamu, Nana Akosua Afrakoma I, lavished praises and expressed gratitude towards the President for appointing her royal son, Hon. Osei Owusu King, to the position of Dormaa East District Chief Executive.
She remarked that President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership signifies he is truly a divinely selected leader destined to steer the country towards progress.
She further expressed her belief that God would fortify the DCE nominee and bestow upon him the requisite wisdom to advance the district’s development.
The Mawerɛhene of the Dormaa Traditional Council, Barima Ɛfiri Tete Sampong Siaw, urged the Assembly Members of the Dormaa East District to eschew any delays in confirming the president’s nominee, as mandated by the constitution.
He implored them to cast their votes promptly to facilitate the nominee’s confirmation, thereby allowing work to commence swiftly in the district.
This would enable the District Chief Executive to assume his responsibilities and spearhead the much-needed development initiatives.
The urgency of his confirmation was emphasized, given the numerous projects awaiting implementation.
