Apostle Dr. Kadmiel E.H. Agbelenyo, a certified Herbal Medicine Practitioner at Sufficient Grace Theocracy Hospital, has sounded a warning to the public about the dangers of excessive carbonated drink consumption.
Addressing the gathering at the climax of the Passover Festival held at Shallom-Otiakrom, Apostle Dr. Agbelenyo warned that carbonated drinks pose a significant health risk. “These drinks contain high levels of sugar and chemicals that can damage the kidneys and liver, ultimately leading to organ failure,” he cautioned.
Dr. Agbelenyo lamented the rising cases of kidney damage and urged parents to stop buying carbonated soft drinks for their children. Instead, he recommended preparing fresh fruit juices at home to help prevent diseases like diabetes.
The herbal medicine practitioner also emphasized the importance of consuming vegetables and fruits. However, he cautioned against consuming commercially grown produce, citing the harmful chemicals used in farming. Dr. Agbelenyo advised the public to plant their own vegetables to ensure a healthy and chemical-free diet.
