New Voter Forum to Petition 16 NDC Regional Chairmen Over Government Appointment Neglect

The New Voter Forum (NVF) is set to petition the 16 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Chairmen, expressing concerns over government appointment neglect.
This move is seen as a call to action, urging the NDC leadership to address the perceived imbalance in government appointments.
Below is the full statement
1. This is to bring to the attention of the general public and NDC members in particular that, starting from 2nd April, 2025, the leadership of the New Voter Forum (NVF) , a pro NDC interventionist group, a voice of the grassroots will be petitioning all 16 regional chairmen over government appointment neglect.
2. This patriotic exercise has become necessary to bring to the attention of the regional chairmen the pressing issue of neglect faced by hard working party activists and urge them to take immediate actions together with Mr. President and national leadership to provide meaningful support including recognizing their contributions with appointments, providing other incentives and engaging in open dialogue to address their concerns.
3. This important exercise will be preceded by a mammoth press conference in the Volta Region, the “World Bank” of the NDC after which a petition will be delivered to the regional chairman by NVF.
4. As an interventionist group which speaks for the voiceless, we stand ready to aggressively advocate and ensure contributions of hard working NDC members, allies of the struggle among others are not consistently overlooked and marginalized by the new NDC government.
