E/R Suhum: MP Leads Clean-Up Exercise in Collaboration with Local Council of Churches

As part of measures to promote cleanliness and good health in the Suhum municipality, Member of Parliament for the Suhum constituency, Hon. Frank Asiedu Bekoe, has partnered with the local council of churches to organize a clean-up exercise.

The event, which was carried out with the support of all security agencies in the municipality, including the police, fire service, and immigration, aims to ensure the good people of Suhum live in a healthy environment.

According to Hon. Asiedu Bekoe, the recent cholera outbreaks in the country necessitate such initiatives, emphasizing that health knows no political boundaries.

He plans to make the clean-up exercise a weekly affair, rather than a monthly one, to maintain the municipality’s cleanliness.

Mr. Enoch Duodu, Municipal Manager of Zoomlion, has commended Hon. Asiedu Bekoe for his ambitious initiative, citing that cleanliness is next to godliness.

This collaborative effort demonstrates the MP’s commitment to the well-being of his constituents and sets a positive example for other communities to follow.
